Place your solar module panels in the sun and collect power-that’s it, that’s all? Well, not quite.

Although solar modules panels are well designed and last a long time there are several issues that you should considered before choosing where and how to install them:
- Calculate your electrical-generation requirements.
- Ensure the site has clear access to the sun.
- Decide whether to rack or track.
- Eliminate tree shading.
- Consider snow and ice buildup in winter.
- Ensure that modules do not overheat in hot weather.
- Decide on the system voltage.
- Locate the array as close to the batteries as possible.
